Best resource for woodworking plans?
« on: January 13, 2022, 07:26:04 PM »
Hey pals,

I'm looking for a wide assortment of woodworking plans; something to act as a 'bible' so to speak - any particularly good books or resources on this?

I'm not sure if this is the type of stuff your looking for, but this old blog has a lot of plans for basic farmhouse-y furniture and different household items:

https://www.ana-white.com/woodworking-projects

She also has a page where you can buy plans for pieces that are a bit more polished:

And a youtube page:

Hey pals,

I'm looking for a wide assortment of woodworking plans; something to act as a 'bible' so to speak - any particularly good books or resources on this?

This quest is too broad

“Woodworking” could encompass anything from building boats to large furniture to turning pens. Within each there are dozens of styles, many of which are at absolute odds with one another (think tables, and then epoxy River tables vs. mission style). The skills required for one may only be barely relatable for another.

What are you looking to build, and what style(s) appeal to you?

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
