Has anybody on this forum performed seasonal tax preparation for side income? If so, what was your experience? How much did you make? Is it possible in a part time role?
I'm an attorney and, from what I've read, I'm automatically qualified by the IRS to do tax preparation. I know I'd have to likely take some course if I worked for a national chain (e.g., HR Block), but I'm wondering if it's worth my while to do so.

Depends on how much you want to work. The guy I use does this; he charges a ridiculously low amount for my partner's and my tax returns. It's far cheaper than doing it myself, once time is factored in. So I can only imagine he would have to do several dozen to make it worth his time, not a bad gig, but would make for a huge amount of work for that stretch of time.
