I have lived pretty hard before; be it military service in the bush, living nearly off grid cooking on a Coleman stove using Kerosene lamps, Kerosene heaters only, etc... Been starting to feel that tug again with FIRE, just me to look after now, and looking at what I really need and have always wanted. This lead me to this or similar:

Fellow there said a lot of folks use them as hunting camps, some fully electric and water, septic, heating/ A/C too... The cost would be around $15k, and put on any foundation I choose to pay for, and I felt perhaps a 20'x32' hi-loft porch barn would be great, with all kinds of usable space to build upon.
The office one had a Mitsubishi mini split for AC and heating, and was very, very slick. I'm sure they could be built for less by folks good at building (I'm not), so there you have it. Seem like a good idea, and option for a minimalistic Mustachian like myself. Know anyone who has done it, looked into it and it was a no-go, success stories? Really looking forward to your thoughts. Thanks.
