As the title says, anyone have a recommendation for an independent insurance broker in the area? We are only shopping for life insurance.
My husband and I applied for life insurance online through Geico, through which we have auto and renter's insurance. After answering the usual questionnaires, I was approved, but my husband was denied. Well, the rejection email said "postponed" because of his medical history, but we interpret that as a denial. The insurer didn't give us an option to appeal or to present additional evidence that my husband is successfully managing his condition.
It's a bit surprising because I expected it to be the other way around, given our respective family medical histories.
Anyway, any recommendations for independent insurance brokers who knows how to navigate these kinds of situations?
