Getting Laid Off in March, looking for options in April
« on: January 27, 2014, 09:25:43 AM »
Quick Back Story.

I have been working contract with the Canadian Government, there wont be any potential jobs until at least June (and even then maybe not). My contract is over at the end of March. Last year at this time my alternative job fell through and I was 3 weeks before finding a construction position that paid 50% of what I was getting. I was hoping to avoid that this year.

Question.

I want to generate money from home with multiple side hustles. Is this possible? Does anyone have advice or experience doing this?

At the moment I am tutoring one grade 9, and I am interested in advertising more. Other ideas I am looking into are offering guitar lessons, fiverr, offering tech services, potentially taking some online accounting and tax courses with a local collage to offer that.

Anyone have any suggestions?
