Looks like the new normal in the UK is to work until you are well into your 70s

The thing that makes me think the "experts" that come up with this stuff are deluded is that I think there are very few jobs you could do at that age.
Can you imagine many teachers, doctors, nurses, binmen working in old age?
Maybe a public librarian, fund manager, or goldman sachs banker could do it due to their low demand jobs but for anybody else thinking they will just work longer to fund their retirement I don't think they will be capable.

Time for the socialist utopia of Europe to pay the piper. this is probably just the opening salvo of a dismantling of Europe's overgenerous entitlement programs.
