Oh man, they went after Nordic Ware. Not my precious! They're absolutely the best cake pans in existence, though a goddamn nightmare to wash because of the intricate detail. But I'm not the household dishwasher, so that's fine. I love my Charlotte model so much I'm thinking of getting a second pan in a different style.

My husband is the cook in the house, and he isn't one to covet much in the way of stuff, but damn, does he loves those Nordic Ware pans!

I assume you're talking about the nordic ware bundt pans? I love mine, too, but I only have the standard bundt design one. I found an intricate nordic ware bundt pan at a Goodwill for $5 a few years ago and used it several times...only to re-donate it because I hated cleaning it so much.

Ah, the anniversary bundt pan! That's the one I have. My husband bought it for me for...our anniversary. :) My friends all made fun of me because I had been wanting it for three years and dithering over the price. I make a bundt cake for most potlucks and dinner parties now--it's been worth the money!

I use box yellow cake mix that I mix with 1.25 c sour cream, pudding mix, four eggs, 1/2 c warm water, 1/3 c oil, and 1 t vanilla. Comes out delicious every time. Can also use spice cake box mix with a lot of spices, 1c pumpkin, and the rest of the recipe the same except 1/4 c sour cream. Also works with chocolate box cake mix but in that case you use chocolate pudding mix. Frost with cream cheese frosting. Guaranteed awesome dessert and it only takes about ten minutes to throw together. I buy the box cake mix on sale for $1.25.

Update: I bought the new bigger Nordic Ware Bundt pan with a gift card I got for Christmas. Oddly enough, I did in fact end up buying it at Williams Sonoma, literally the first time I've ever been to one of their stores in my life, because the other high-end cookware place was closed today. I have an apple spice cake in the oven now.
