The latent consumption monster inside me thinks this is fun, but the environmentalist mustachian thinks this is one of the the worst things for society ever imagined.

I totally considered signing up for the text notifications, just to SEE what was on the truck if/when it comes to town...

Then I reminded myself that if I really need something, I'd buy it.  I don't need a treasure truck to tell me I need something in a moment of weakness!

So, while I think it's a fun idea.  I'll not be participating!

Yeah, that's kind of dumb.  Amazon has reduced my need to go to the store down to almost zero, but I always decide what I'm looking for, I don't want "deals" shown off to me.

Completely unrelated, but the sheer number of Amazon delivery vans in my neighborhood is beginning to creep me out. From the looks of things, no one here leaves their house, ever, and orders everything from Amazon.

I am a contributor to this.  I buy almost everything on Amazon that can't be found at a grocery store, Costco, or Home Depot.  Why shouldn't I? I hate going to stores, it takes too much time/aggravation/vehicle-miles, and the selection/price is generally way worse anyway.

A "must-have thing"?!  WTF is that?!  Why have I never heard of these must-haves?

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
